360Voice Widget
In July of 2006 I joined this little site called 360Voice. I can not remember how I stumbled on the site, but I found the idea intriguing! The idea was to have the site read the data feed that Microsoft sends out about your activity on the Xbox360. I was in love with the idea that my 360 would then have a voice about what I do or don’t do on a daily basis in the world of gaming. I then found the forums where a great community had started and was very welcoming. Trolling the forums on a more or less daily basis, after checking my blog, I came across a posting about APIs that would allow me to get the data collected and put my own spin on it. Guess what I did!
After about 2 years, I finally have a version of the Yahoo! Widget that I am proud of and I am releasing it to the public. This version (v5.1a) is not a final version of the widget, but is functional to get the data that is most important on your desktop.
I know that I am not the greatest at writing things down, so I suggest that you take a look at the screenshot, signup for 360Voice, and get the Yahoo! Widgets application and the widget.
